1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Booking and questionnaire information. When you book a call, we collect your first and last name, email address, and phone number (optional), plus the deal details you choose to share, such as property type, property location, purchase price, total capital raise, deal stage, target closing date, number of deals closed, and what you want help with.
- Application and contact forms. Name, email address, phone number, and the business and deal information you enter.
- Deal Check tool. When you use the LOI-to-Close Deal Check, the deal details, numbers and answers you enter stay in your browser and are not sent to us or stored by us. If you ask for the readout or date reminders by email, we collect your email address, the deal nickname and the PSA dates you entered, and a record of whether you asked for reminders.
- Appointment information. The date, time, time zone, and status of calls you book, reschedule, or cancel.
- Communications. The content of emails, text messages, and other messages you send us, and notes from calls you have with us.
- Consent records. Whether you agreed to receive text messages, and when and how you gave or withdrew that consent.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, and general location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. Through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and the Meta Pixel, as described in Section 3.
- Email and message engagement. Whether our emails were delivered and opened and whether links in them were clicked, and delivery status for text messages.
2. How we use information
- To schedule, confirm, and hold the calls you book, and to send confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling or cancellation notices.
- To review your inquiry, prepare for the call, and follow up with you about your inquiry.
- To decide whether an engagement is a fit and, if you become a client, to provide our advisory services under a written agreement.
- To answer your questions and communicate with you.
- To send the Deal Check readout you request and, only if you check the reminder box, one short reminder before each PSA date you entered.
- To understand how visitors use the Site, improve its content, and measure the performance of our advertising.
- To keep the Site and our systems secure and to prevent fraud and misuse.
- To keep business records and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
General examples from introductory calls. If you book an introductory call with us, we may use lessons, scenarios and examples from that call in our advertising, marketing and social media, even if you do not engage us. These examples may mention a broad market or metropolitan area (for example, "the Dallas metro" or "Houston"), rounded or approximate figures (such as an asking price, what our review supported, or a range of unit counts) and general descriptions of the deal. We never include your name or your firm's name; the name of any deal, property or portfolio; any street address; or any documents or materials you share with us.
3. Cookies, analytics, and pixels
The Site uses the following tools, which may set cookies or collect device and usage data when you visit:
- Google Analytics. Measures visits, pages viewed, and actions such as booking a call, so we can understand and improve the Site.
- Google Tag Manager. Manages and loads the analytics and measurement tags on the Site.
- Meta Pixel. Records page views and actions such as booking a call or playing a video so we can measure and improve our advertising on Meta platforms and show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site.
These providers process this data under their own privacy policies. You can limit this tracking by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and adjusting your ad preferences in your Meta account settings. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and change how Meta uses this data for ads in your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the Site. The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
